772

Baltimore MD

June 2005 - 772 was purchased by the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum from Larry's Truck & Electric. They have since restored the engine to its as-delivered NC&StL paint scheme, given it back the number 710, and it has been in regular service - including pulling freight on occasion for the Chattooga & Chickamauga Railway, as well as working on the excursions last year operated on the former L&N Hook & Eye line in southeastern Tennessee.

The air filter boxes are still on the locomotive but the museum will be removing them at some point.

Did any one notice that Amtrak Pumpkins look awful when they fade?
