The ex PRR N5D and N5EClass

N5D

The N5D based on the N-5, had a sliding sill underframe. Former PRR number 477184.

N5E

The N5e introduced in 1945, was similar to the N5 but with no belt rail, four square windows on it's sides it had a similar cupola the N8 but was 12 1/2 inches off center. ( I wonder if this a some sort of N-8 prototype? ) It has also been reported that this was rebuilt from a wreck - The car exists today in Utica NY. but reported sold maybe moved.
