Built for SAL 6051 in 1947 by Budd as bag-dorm, Lot 9614-009,
full HEP Heritage bag-dorm, sleeps 16, has nice new interior.
Was slightly derailed at Batavia, NY 1994 and re-railed poorly.

  1622   No longer an Amtrak car
currently (August 99) for sale
former SP Sunset 3102, Budd built (lot 9614-040) in 1950 as bag-dorm. One of five built. Currently has two showers and sleeps 16 (can add more). Full HEP & 27 point. Needs PC-2 and retention to operate on Amtrak. Decent body for "head-end" car. Would make great power-dorm car
